Hairstyle?

I wanna change my hairstyle. Homegirl over here needs some volume and I don't know how to tease hair.  I need lessons for my low maintenance hair.

I LOVE her hair color & hair style.
Sometimes I wish I was pale so I can pull off a look like this.

So I'm going for a digital perm w/ a dye job.  I'm thinking of sticking w/ the red brownish color family or go for a brighter red which will probably wash out very quickly.
What do you guys think?
