Time to eat healther...time to get fit

I've been reading a lot of healthy cooking recipes these days.  I hope that I can start eating healthier by cooking and to start working out again consistently.  I don't know what is.  It's not like I'm obsessed and starve myself to be thin cus I CAN NEVER STARVE.  I'll pass out if I skip a meal.  I just don't want to get lazy with exercising and eating healthy.  It takes so much work.  It's just one of those things when you know you should be doing it, but your laziness gets the better of you and you just never do it.  I don't want to be lazy.  I want to do something about something I don't like and not let laziness win me over.

I just want to be fit and at this age create the body I want.  I don't want a thin skinnybonejones model body, but I want a toned healthy looking body.  I want to be able to wear a swimming suit and not be shy about cellulite or fat hanging.  Forealssss.  I was able to wear a swimming suit last year, but this year in the last couple of months, I gained 7 lbs from eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and not working out.
I need to set some more goals.

Goals:
  • Lose 5lbs
  • 1 inch off waistline
  • 1-2 inches off thighs & tone
  • 1-2 inches off hips & tone
  • 1/2 inch off each arm & tone
  • Shape butt & lift ( because losing weight = booty shrinking = no ass = nobody wants a flat pancake ass)

Time to get that summer body ready!!  <~ This is how I have to hype myself up. LOL

I wanna make this.

The Little Things

The smallest gestures, the beautiful weather, a thoughtful text message or a phone call, a wonderful compliment, a smiling stranger, people who love you, holding hands, a home cooked meal, your favorite old school jam on the radio, a healthy body with arms & legs, eyes to see amazing things, ears to hear lovely music, a nose to smell the most delicious scents, taste buds to savor every flavor, a car (crappy or not) or a bus (crowded or not) to take you to work, a job so you can pay the bills & buy things you want, a roof over your head no matter where you live.  There are many things we tend to overlook and forget to be thankful for on a daily basis.  Let's cherish these "little things" that warm our hearts and cause us to smile uncontrollably.

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
