YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Some things happen to us without our control and some are the consequences of our own actions.  We are here today capable of making the right choices.  Let's all try our best to always do what is right and to focus on what is truly important.  These decisions that we make today will shape our future and certainly determine what kind of people we become.

I've been thinking about this topic over the weekend because of a close relative of mine.  I see his life and what's become of him by the choices that he has made.  He's old, at the age of 60 now, still doing the same thing he's been doing since he was in his 20's.  He's too old now and he's been living his life the same way for so long that he doesn't know how to change and he’s afraid of it.

It's really depressing.  That's why when we're still young, we should seek change to be the best version of ourselves.  As we get older, it definitely gets harder.

Galatians 6:7-8
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
