Paint It Red

Heal the cuts on my heart so I can be free
They seem to never heal, it's repeated history
My tears flow down like waterfalls, never ending on its own
They must be shut down within, a place untouched, unknown
If pain had a color, I would paint it red
For all the blood and suffering that one has shed
To be binded by the wrists, my ankle..ball and chain
It's a never ending agony that drives you insane
The light no longer shines, the darkness is here
No one here to hold you, there is only fear
Drowning in my misery, with no hope left to bare
Losing grip of reality, I say my final prayer
I kneel to the ground, my head in my hands
So cold and alone, no one understands
So now I say goodbye to this excruciating pain
Pulled the trigger, now I'm gone into my heavenly domain
